The daughter of photographers parents. She graduated from the University of Florence, Faculty of Architecture, in fashion design in 2008, she discover her passion about photographic art during her university studies where she began to familiarize with cameras only in 2006 by attending technical courses photography, post production and visual communication. But basically she likes to say that "she is born between photographs."
In 2008 she attended Graziano Ferrari for the magazine "Grace" during the catwalks "Milano Moda Donna."
In 2009 she collaborated with Antonio Manta as a graphic designer, where she was involved in editing for photo books.
In early 2010, she assisted for the Angelo Marani advertising campaign photographed by Solve Sundsbo in London.
Later she went to New York to specialize in fashion photography and advertising at the School of Visual Art. Here she had the good fortune to work as a PR for Christopher Henry Gallery, and as an assistant and retoucher for Andrea Blanch, a photographer who has worked for most of her life with Richard Avedon. This environment is for Azzurra reason for growth and significant influence and in recent months she has been called to be the art director for a project of beauty.
Currently working as free lancer, trying to combine her passions (art, fashion and photography) to make it a lifestyle.
Attention to detail, dreamy character, conceptuality and experimentation are often redundant aspects in her works, but with feet firmly on the ground making her susceptible to fashion and life in general.

She had few exhibitions and competitions where she has distinguished herself by the quality of her work, the most important are:
_ First prize at the 2010 WPGA - World Photography Awards Gala - Annual Pollux Award - on show next January at the Palais de Glace - Buenos Aires - Argentina

The inner beauty that coated / covered not get out (but which, however, sees and feels), because it is the victim of social rules too blunt (The natural dark side) ...
The dark side of nature of itself, because it inhibited by social rules and therefore the good part (the one that is not approved by the society) becomes the ugly as hidden or half hidden beneath the cobwebs as if it were a defect.

Metamorphosis - Transformation real or fabulous, such as changing form. A concept that I
accompanies many years in my photographic experiments.
"Human CreARTure" is the last, so far as always being developed and tested,
evolution of my metamorphosis in humans.
The basic concept, which always accompanies these studies is to deform and then transform into
something other than the human body beyond recognition, and then interpreted by the viewer with a thin
message.
The work presented was carried out using the single light source, a video projector and an human body. It is a tribute to the beauty of the human being, which I love and praise always
both inner and outer. Interior to the fact that it is not perceived as the original form of physical and
considered that is not given to know what form has this kind of beauty. Exterior because physically
the image has been created thanks to the provision of a human nude body.
The result seems to be a sculpture by the indefinite form in which the imagination is stimulated to create, to invent fantasies that entertain the mind, excited by what affects the view. This view of the changing forms is the subject of a particular type of productive imagination, imagination involuntary, in addition to being subject to personal interpretation.

Passion is Woman

Dimension 75x100 cm
Technique Polaroid transfert collage - stampa fine art on rag paper and mounted on rigid support
Material Polaroid, watercolor paper, rag paper, water

The woman is the ultimate expression of passion, which in its Romantic meaning passions are not considered to be good for the reasons brought hedonism and materialism, but because they are able to make explicit the limits of human reason when it shows itself incapable to capture all those living in all its expressions instead revealed by the passions.
