Surrealism meets the custom made of Benjamin Jean Jean, the Berlin surfer, designer, artist and photographer.

Starting from his last name - surreal, anthropological and of Berlin - Benjamin Jean Jean, artist, photographer, designer and surfer, is an exponent of contemporary art movement inspired by Surrealism. Admirer of Magritte and Breton, Benjamin dips into the absurd of liberating artistic images, creating symmetrical, logarithmic equational artifacts. In order to focus on his projects, he lives his creative life in an old house on the French Atlantic Coast, in the Basque Country, doing water adventures on the seas of Surf: Zarautz.

The passion for surfing, for the thrills and the contamination of fashion, draw Benjamin near Erika and Eli, two beautiful creatures of the day, also surfers and fashion models, who founded Sew'n Sing, a company responsible for the handmade cool bags for surfing, the board bags. Benjamin designed the logo. As advocates RVUCA, in fact, Erika and Eli, during the fall campaign of 2011, met Benjamin, who was responsible for the photographs: the feeling is immediate and they immediately start a fruitful, stimulating collaboration with the eclectic Berlin artist.

Later, they had the idea to vitrify the surfboards with tissues, some of which designed by Benjamin. A success! In one year they sold 257 tables. You would not believe. The custom board bags are purchased by a qualified public by mail, even if a unique online store, which will ensure an organic growth in sales, has being built.

Sea, tables, creative textiles, surrealism, surfing: all this happens in Zarautz. Zarautz (in Basque, Zarauz in Castilian) is a Spanish town of 22,353 inhabitants located in the autonomous community of Basque Country, in the province of Guipúzcoa, a modern and elegant seaside resort on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, located 20 km from San Sebastián, the capital of the province of Guipúzcoa.

It would be interesting at this point, to ask Breton and Magritte whether they had ever supposed to see their dreamy surrealism applied to surfboards; provided they are able to imagine someone speeding semi-naked on the waves of the sea thanks to a surreal oval resin table!

The boundaries of applied and surreal creativity are exterminated; getting bored attending design, photography, Art and Fashion System is impossible. If you want a confirmation, just follow the adventures of the Sew'n Sing brand, a great imperative!
